Trimmed armor from ominous trials gets untrimmed after putting in chests but shoews it still has the trim

I got trimmed armor from trial chambers in ominous trials but after putting it in a chest the trim gets removed but still shows in the chest that it has the trim on it but when i retrieve it it doesnt have it anymore i dont know if its suppose to happen
