Clouds are not see through in vibrant visuals

I've been building a sky base and found out if I build into a cloud I cannot see the blocks when I'm out of the cloud. This is very dangerous because I could fall off as I can't see where I'm stepping.

How to reproduce: find an area where a cloud is right above. Build up to the cloud and see how blocks in the cloud can't be seen outside.
