Game crashes

i placed a dragon head on my home and every time i try to destroy it in creative mode it crashes the game. when i try in survival mode it doesn't go away. i want them gone from the top of my home i built but cant get rid of them without the game crashing immediately. can you please fix this issue!! thanks!!
