After defeating the Ender Dragon, the game fails to complete the normal post-battle process. Although the dragon performs the death animation correctly, it does not ascend as expected. Once fully disintegrated:
No experience orbs are released
The return portal to the Overworld does not generate
If the player remains in the End without dying or falling into the void, the game’s performance steadily degrades, eventually reaching unplayable frame rates (1–2 FPS)
Issue has been consistently reproduced across multiple worlds and fresh saves
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new Survival world
Reach the End dimension
Defeat the Ender Dragon
Observe the lack of experience and missing portal
Stay in the End without dying or exiting
Notice progressive FPS drop and world instability
Expected Behavior:
The Ender Dragon should release experience orbs
The exit portal to the Overworld should automatically generate
Game performance should remain stable after defeating the dragon
Observed Behavior:
No experience is awarded
No exit portal appears
Game becomes increasingly unstable if the player stays in the End
We haven't been able to reproduce this issue. If you can actually reproduce this in newly created worlds, could you create a new world, go to the End, exit the world without killing the Ender Dragon, and then attach the world to this report?
