Expecting periodic freezing too on iOS 18.6 game version 1.21.101. Didn’t measure how long, but it was definitely on a schedule because it was very consistently triggering at around the same number of seconds.
Here’s the thing: I think it wasn’t the game, but actually a specific section of the AI settings lagging things.
What I did was turn off all of the Siri learning on all apps. I turned off all 4 options. That got rid of the periodic lag spikes. Then I went back and turned on only the learn from this app setting for only Minecraft, and continued to play. That seems to have resulted in no lag spikes, but I think I need to do more testing, like checking if it’s turning off the AI learning on all apps that ends it, or if it’s the other options that are triggering the lag spikes.
