The render distance for Banners, Trapdoors, Cobwebs, Chests, Shulkers, etc is much shorter than the render distance of other “standard blocks” with no way I could find to customize it in the Video Settings
Compare the two screenshots of the following Ferris Wheel in my Survival World. The close screenshot shows all of the details and I’m very happy with how it looks. But the far away screenshot loses some of the charm: missing all of the inner lines (cobwebs), and making the passenger pods look like they are disconnected and floating (trapdoors).
I have a very strong PC, and would love to take advantage of the capability of my GPU to make the Ferris wheel look its best from all distances, but i know others may not have the capability to do so
If possible I'd love this for standard entities, not just entity-like blocks (although the blocks are more important to me). I have part of a building intentionally designed to be an aquarium. In the closer screenshot fish are swimming in the tank. In the further screenshot they are absent from the rendering.
