Trial Explorer Map points to a non-existent structure (Seed 5058806507771308196, X:-464 Z:-1008)

We spent hours following a Trial Explorer Map that was purchased from a Cartographer in a survival Bedrock world. The map clearly pointed to X:-464, Z:-1008.

We dug from surface to bedrock, and strip-mined an area covering all 25 chunks around the marked location. We also opened the world in Creative mode and drilled 25 vertical shafts from the surface down to bedrock across all chunks in a 5×5 grid centered on that location.

🧭 World seed: 5058806507771308196
🎯 Map center: X: –464, Z: –1008
🔍 Confirmed via Chunkbase that no Trial Chamber exists anywhere near this location. The nearest are:

  • X: –407, Z: –361

  • X: –743, Z: –1415

This suggests that the Trial Explorer Map mechanic is currently not checking whether a structure actually exists at the destination before assigning it as a map target. This is game-breaking, as players can spend hours searching for something that was never generated.

This ruined the experience for a younger player, who followed the map exactly and wasted a full play session – a whole day – searching in vain.

Please fix this by verifying that the structure exists before marking it on a Trial Explorer Map.
