Happy ghast suffocate

Happy ghasts suffocate really easily. Even going near the ground on a hilside in order to attach a mob with a lead to it(in my case a horse) made it suffocate and then die. Sometimes it even suffocates when going on corners of my ghast “parking” stations. Also I think the hitbox changes when i am riding and when i stand because it suffocates only when i am not riding it. Please make the hitbox the same as when riding it or please make it unable to go this close to the blocks. I have lost my happy ghast in survival and I was so sad please patch it.
