respawn button not showing in death screen

i was playing a pvp world with a lot of people and when i died the death screen did not show the respawn button, i was also host of the world so the only way to respawn is leaving and joining back the game, i dont know if this is a host only bug. sorry i forgot to take a picture but it was the normal death screen without anything on it.
