Vibrant Visuals doesn't allow colored text on signs.

Using the “§” or dye will not color any text on any of the signs, but only when using Vibrant Visuals. The colored text appear once reverted back to normal graphics. Although, the colored text WILL appear only when glow ink sack is used. (sorry for lag in attachment video lol)
