Problem importing a world into the game

Alright, here we go. Problems importing worlds, something that has never happened to me before, and now in Minecraft version 1.21 it started happening. I tested it on two platforms. The first was on Windows 10. What I’m about to explain may sound a bit confusing, so I’ll try to be as clear as possible. I ran two tests.

First test: I sent a map from my phone to the computer. The world was in a normal ZIP folder. Normally, when you want to import a world directly into the game, you delete “.zip” and replace it with “.mcworld.” After I renamed it, when the game opened, it started the whole process until it hit the first problem: “Failed to import world.” That was the first issue. The solution I found was to manually put the world folder directly into the Minecraft folder. With this manual process, it worked, the world showed up in the game, but it’s still a problem.

Second test (more annoying): sending the map from the computer to the phone. That’s where it really got messy. I sent the file normally to my phone in ZIP format. I tried to import the world into the game directly by renaming it to “.mcworld,” and once again the same error popped up: “Failed to import world.” Then I tried using the ZArchiver app to move the world folder into Minecraft’s game folder. But another problem happened: when I tried to paste it into Minecraft’s world folder, it showed “Operation completed with errors.” So I wasn’t able to copy the world into the folder to make it appear in-game.

I downloaded other file managers, like ES File Explorer, but still no luck. Another error came up: “Copy task failed.” So basically, something I managed to work around on PC, I couldn’t solve at all on mobile. I couldn’t get the map into the game.

Everyone says this issue only happens when the Minecraft version is different, or when the map is outdated, or something like that. But the thing is, this is happening right now on the latest version, and my map is completely up to date. So I don’t know… I just hope this gets fixed, because years ago I could do this without any problem, but now it’s turning into a real headache.

same for me, my world was in 1.21.94, but, it's doesn't working on 1.21.101 hotfix

How about instead of trying to fix 1.21.100. You just scrap it and revert to a working version. 1.21.100 is breaking worlds. Corrupting chunks and deleting them.

Because to downgrade the version I would have to use an APK on the phone, and on the computer there’s no way to downgrade.

Please attach the .mcworld file to this report.

Is this problem going to be fixed in the next Beta version?
