Villagers are not claiming their workstations Nor beds, even it's closer to him like in Java

When i spawn a Villager closer to a workstation or bed, It refuses to pick up this nearest closer to him, they don’t spawn Green particles or change it’s job, instead, although Very rare, it’s pick up a workstation or bed that it’s out of reach, unlike Java that pick up the workstation in front of him and they are so dumb that they try to get to workstation through wall, even if trouble pathfinding
