Upon taming an allay and giving it an item, if I enter the Nether through the portal and leave my allay in the Overworld in a boat to prevent the allay from entering with me, everything operates as it should. If I return to the Overworld and break the boat trapping the allay, the allay vanishes. It seems to only do this if it is holding an item, and if I re-enter the Nether via the portal, the allay will be on the other side. This is an extremely frustrating issue and sometimes the allay will just vanish completely, instead of teleporting to the Nether. Thank you for your time.
