Brush causes auto-use glitch with attack/destroy button

When I use the Brush on a grass block with the attack/destroy button, it keeps brushing even after I open and close the inventory.
If I switch to Flint & Steel right after brushing, it also keeps activating without pressing the button.
If I switch to a block, it automatically places two blocks and then stops.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a world (Survival or Creative).

2. Place a grass block.

3. Equip the Brush.

4. Use the attack/destroy button to brush the grass block.

5. While brushing, open and close the inventory.

6. Switch to Flint & Steel or a block.

Expected Result

Brushing should stop when inventory is opened.

Switching to another item should not auto-activate it.

Actual Result

Brush keeps brushing after inventory is closed.

Flint & Steel keeps igniting without pressing the button.

Blocks auto-place two times, then stop.
