Minecraft freezes on the start screen when Wi-Fi or mobile data is turned off.

When I open Minecraft and turn off Wi-Fi or mobile data, the game freezes on the start screen and I cannot do anything. It does not let me enter worlds, servers, or menus. This happens every time I try to open the game without internet.
