📝 Petition to Mojang: Remove RenderDragon & Restore Minecraft Bedrock Performance

📢 Why We’re Petitioning

Minecraft has always been a game about creativity, freedom, and accessibility. We, the Minecraft Bedrock/PE community, deeply value Mojang’s ethical approach and love for the player base.

However, the introduction of the RenderDragon engine has caused widespread problems:

Severe performance drops (FPS reduced drastically, e.g., from 56 → 8 FPS).

Device overheating and frequent crashes, even on strong hardware.

Complete loss of shader compatibility, destroying community-made mods and shaders.

Restrictions that kill creative independence, unlike Java Edition.

Players across Reddit, Mojira, YouTube, and other platforms have spoken up. The message is clear: RenderDragon has harmed Minecraft Bedrock.

✅ What We Ask Mojang To Do

1. Eradicate RenderDragon from Minecraft Bedrock/PE.

Restore the older, more efficient rendering system.

OR create a new one focused on performance first, graphics second.

1. Add an Opt-Out Option

Let players disable RenderDragon for better FPS and shader compatibility.

1. Refocus on Optimization

Prioritize FPS, smooth gameplay, and battery efficiency.

Fix chunk lag, memory leaks, and CPU overload issues.

1. Restore Modding Freedom

Bring back shader support and tools for creators, as seen in Java Edition.
