Using the command "/execute if block ~ ~-1 ~ sand" on top of a red sand unexpectedly results the command to output "Test passed." when the block below is clearly not sand

i found this bug when i was making a addon and i find it weird that how did it happen.

Steps to Reproduce the bug:

  1. place a red sand

  2. stand on top of it and run the command “/execute if block ~ ~-1 ~ sand”

and the output in the chat should unexepectedly say “Test passed.”

So mojang. please fix this? also. if you replace the red sand to a normal sand and do the same thing run the command but replace red_sand to sand “/execute if block ~ ~-1 ~ red_sand”. it doesnt pass. lol

Maybe work as intended. Red sand once used the same ID as sand.
