Player gets stuck in trapdoor when climbing ladder in Minecraft Bedrock

When climbing a ladder in Bedrock Edition, if there is a trapdoor placed directly above the top of the ladder and more ladder blocks continue above that trapdoor, the player becomes stuck inside the trapdoor block. The player cannot continue climbing upward through the trapdoor into the ladders above.
