Affected Game Version: 1.21.111 (Minecraft Bedrock Edition)
Platform: Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2
Description of Issue:
After launching the game, my custom 2D profile picture is incorrectly displaying as a grayed-out silhouette of the Makena default skin, instead of the custom skin I have selected in the Dressing Room.
This issue is visible across the game's user interface, including the main menu profile button and the Friends/Realms list.
My custom skin is correctly applied to the 3D character model in-game.
The issue seems to be a rendering bug that defaults the 2D profile icon to an uncolored (gray) version of the Makena skin whenever the actual custom profile icon fails to load.
Other players' profile pictures (i.e., their faces/skins) are loading correctly for me.

Well, after many attempts, it didn't work. It turns out the problem is that Minecraft doesn't recognize custom skins and only assigns a profile face to an official character, such as a pre-made character from the Minecraft Store. This is a problem I'm having. I'm hoping to find a solution.<
