Opening the chat (via Enter or “/”) and then typing does not register the typed characters. The inputs don’t appear or send unless the chat box is explicitly selected again (e.g. by clicking it or pressing Enter a second time).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch a world in the affected preview version.

2. Press Enter (or “/”) to open the chat input box.

3. Begin typing immediately (without clicking or re-selecting the chat box).

4. Observe: typed characters do not appear / are not registered.

5. To make input work, you must either: Press Enter again (to re-focus the chat box), or Use the mouse (click inside the chat box) to focus it, then type.

Actual behavior:
After opening chat, keyboard input is ignored (no characters appear, no keystrokes registered) until the chat box receives focus again. Only then do typed characters show up or get sent.

Expected behavior:
When chat is opened (via Enter or “/”), the chat input box should automatically gain keyboard focus, so typing immediately begins registering without needing an extra click or key press.
