Part of screen turns black when riding a boat under a slab.

Noticed that in all 3 camera modes, every time I sailed under a slab (1.5 blocks from water to bottom of slab), part of the screen turns black. I was hoping to make a low bridge. I can still sail under it, it just bugs out every time.
