I don’t even know what exactly goes on here, for some reason the light gets cut off diagonally with a perfect diagonal rather than pixelated, this shadow is cast through a hole in the wall
There seems to be a dead zone at ~10-25 blocks (these points are not on chunk borders, I checked) into the building where light doesn’t render (shadows of blocks in this range are considered), before and after which it behaves as expected, so light does not cast a shadow on a wall built to block it, even though the light behind it goes away
For some reason I do not seem to be able to add any attachments (or load them on any other bugs), sorry, I understand this really needs some images to properly explain
