When sorting items, copper golems will pick up purpur stairs from their copper chest but seem unable to recognise the same item in wooden chests. They will continue to act as if there is no viable slot for it, though they will continue to recognise other items in the same chest, and the items stack when manually added. Moving the position of the purpur stair in the chest makes no difference, neither does switching the chest that the purpur stair is to be placed in. Currently i’ve a system that sorts over a thousand different items, purpur stairs are the only item they seem to be unable to deal with properly.

I’m having the same issue, except with pistons instead of purpur stairs. Purpur stairs and all other blocks sort perfectly, but pistons do not sort. Even other items in the same chest as the pistons sort correctly. Copper golem opens the chest with pistons, but shakes his head as though none were found.
