After updating to the Copper Age (1.21.111) update on Xbox One, Minecraft crashes every time I try to launch it. I see the red Mojang loading screen for a few seconds, then the game closes and returns to the Xbox home screen.
I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps, including:
• Restarting the Xbox One
• Power cycling and unplugging the console
• Clearing persistent storage
• Checking for further updates
• Deleting local saved data (cloud saves kept)
• Fully uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft
None of these steps fixed the issue. The crash happens before reaching the main menu, so I can’t access or load any worlds.
This started immediately after the Copper Age update (and the two small follow-up patches).
