Nautilus Uses Incorrect "monster" Population Control Category

The nautilus is classified as a water animal in Java Edition (similar to dolphins and squids) but incorrectly uses the "monster" population control thread in Bedrock Edition's spawn rules. This misclassification causes nautilus spawning to be affected by difficulty settings and prevents it from spawning in Peaceful difficulty, unlike other aquatic animals.

How to Reproduce:

  1. Create a world in Peaceful difficulty

  2. Locate an ocean biome where nautilus can spawn

  3. Observe that no nautilus appears

Observed Result:

  • Nautilus does not spawn in Peaceful difficulty

  • Spawning behavior aligns with monsters rather than aquatic animals

Expected Result:

  • Nautilus should use "water_animal" population control like other aquatic creatures

  • Should spawn normally in Peaceful difficulty

  • Spawning behavior should match Java Edition's implementation
