This bug is being an issue in all of the Minecraft Bedrock Edition devices since the horse was initially implemented in the 0.15.0 Minecraft Pocket Edition version (2016) and is currently affecting to the following mobs:
Horses, skeleton horses, zombie horses, donkeys, mules, pigs, camels, striders, happy ghasts & nautilus
When it comes to Minecraft Java Edition, mount mobs visual rotation takes place inmediately as long as the player visual rotates, so in this way you can perfectly turn 180º around in your way and the mount mob will match the player visual rotation.
But this does not work that well in Bedrock Edition since the mount visual rotation does not match with the player one, resulting tedious and unconvenient for either exploring or turning around in an endangering context in which you’ll need your camera to move quickly
