Steps to reproduce the issue:
Open Character Creator.
Equip one of the following, or all at the same time: Top “Demon Armor” by GoE-Craft, the Outerwear “Demon Suit” by Glorious Studios, or the Back Item “Demon Wings” by Glorious Studios. There may be others, but these are the ones that I have confirmed have this issue.
Equip any cape.
Expected result: The Character Creator preview depicts the “Demon Armor” layer above the the “Magma Overalls” layer, so the top overlays over the bottom.
Actual result: The in-game skin (inventory cam and top left cam as well) is missing most of the upper cosmetics excluding the cape, while still showing it correctly in the pause menu.
At first I thought this was just a creator issue of the creator of the items doing something wrong, but then I realized that they aren’t all from the same marketplace creator, and these are all Marketplace Pass items as well, so I figured I might as well report it here since they’re officially offered by Minecraft at this point.
Best Guess: Some skin layer bug? Certain cosmetics disappear when you equip others so they don’t overlap, but in the case of the cape it doesn’t make sense. However, it looks fine in the Character Creator itself, so there’s some sort of disagreement in the code maybe?
Possible all-around solution: Implement a feature to manually change the priority of skin layers, allowing for the user to force one layer of the skin on top of another, so that if some strange layer disagreement like this happens, the user can fix it for themselves.
