Description:
Any part of the world touched by sunlight becomes pure white.
The effect lasts for a couple of minutes post-sunset and a couple of minutes pre-sunrise.
When changing time to night with a command, there is a momentary gray color to everything before going to normal darkness (shown in the image of the trees).
This effect happens regardless of the brightness selected in the Vibrant Visuals options.
Steps to reproduce:
Install and create a pre-Vibrant Visuals world that comes with a resource pack, such as 10 Years of Minecraft or Hilltop Lifestyle RTX.
In the world’s edit menu, go to the Resource packs section and disable the provided resource pack.
Enable at least 1 PBR resource pack like Vanilla RTX (any will do; this pack gives an error when loading into a world but it’s an unrelated issue).
Ensure Vibrant Visuals is enabled.
Enter the world. The effect is visible from before sunrise to after sunset.
The bug can no longer be done in this way but only because Vibrant Visuals is forced off, regardless of the active packs in the world. I’m not sure if this is still an issue if vibrant visuals were available though.
