[Bedrock] "Distance Traveled" statistic resets to 0

After my total “Distance Traveled” statistic went beyond 2,100,000,000 blocks, it suddenly reset to 0 and stopped increasing. Other statistics (Blocks Broken, Mobs Killed, etc.) continue updating normally.

This strongly suggests that the stat is stored using a signed 32-bit integer (int32), which overflows when it exceeds its maximum positive value.

Steps to Reproduce :

  1. Accumulate more than 2,147,483,647 blocks traveled (through long-term gameplay or testing tools).

  2. Open Profile -> Statistics -> Summary.

  3. Observe that “Distance Traveled” resets to 0 and never updates again.

Expected Result :
The distance counter should continue to increase normally beyond 2.1B.

Observed Result :
After exceeding 2.1B, the stat resets to 0 and remains stuck.

how is this resolved and wdym duplicate ??
