When blocks (either natural or placed) fall within the line of sight to a body of water, they trigger an anomaly in the water’s reflections and textures.
The anomaly manifests in the exact shape of the blocks. The system incorrectly assumes blocks should cast reflections on the water; instead of generating proper block reflections, it erases the existing water reflections and textures in the block-shaped area.
Notably, the blocks do not physically obscure the view of the water. By design, other areas of the water should still display normal reflections and textures.
In practice, block-shaped patches appear on the water surface. These patches show a cloudy white gradient, replacing the intended water textures and reflections.
