while playing a fairly early game world yesterday the game crashed and updated. after making my new shortcut and launching the game i noticed extreme performance issues, becuse minecraft was now eating over 23 gigabites of ram and still chugging like it was running on a literal potato. I have now completely reinstalled the game twice and it still starts eating all my memory as soon as I load a world.
