Ever since they changed how minecraft for windows boots (30 October 2025 i believe, that is when it changed for me), it takes extremely long to loa. Now, there’s an extra 30 minute long loading phase before the actual game loads up… Not only that but when it finally boots up, only 51 of my ~200 singleplayer worlds show up!! . They all exist in the files i looked through them and they are all there but most just don’t show up in the game itself.
This is on a good laptop, legion 5 gaming laptop and the game worked flawlessly before so it is not related with hardware.
I don’t understand personally why they changed this, as there was no need to do so, and the change only made it worse. I hope this gets either reverted or fixed, and i hope im not the only one with this issue.
The conclusion is that mojang made a change to minecraft windows that just broke it entirely. Takes 30 minutes to load and only 25% of the worlds actually show up inside the game.
