After the recent Bedrock update, my character skins will not load. Attempting to make a new character also fails as skins will not apply when equipped. I can equip purchased items, but I cannot modify my base to an extent. It seems the gender is stuck as female, regardless if I attempt to use the Steve skin or others. All owned bases appear as blank and equipping any of them presents no change.
I have fully uninstalled Bedrock, removed the remains of the new GDK data folders, reinstalled Bedrock, and the issue persists. I’ve logged out of my account, and logged back in (this actually got my character stuck as female somehow). I attempted to equip a base skin, joined a new world, logged out of the world, swapped base skins, logged in the new world again. It does not seem to make a difference or help skins sync back in place.
I’m not sure what else to do, or if this is a bug somehow after the update from UWP to GDK. Open to suggestions or if I can help by providing additional screenshots or information. Thank you.

You know what, I think it was me not understanding something. The migration from UWP to GDK did break about half of the presaved characters, but to be fair I do not spend a lot of time in the character creation. Testing further this morning, I think I misunderstood the Base Skins section. Another issue I had with the inability to change hair or iris color palettes seems to be working today (though yesterday I know it would 100% not let me change colors on various items). I did lose my original configuration files from the UWP folder path so unfortunately those characters are gone, but I was able to find my worlds at least and back them up before I performed the uninstall/cleanup/reinstall.
You can leave this ticket in resolved/closed status. I appreciate your time.
Actually, I just realized where I was getting confused. I had purchased the Bliss Hoodie after the changeover, once I lost my characters. The eyes have the expression I use, Suspicious, but I cannot change the iris or eyebrow color. I kept reapplying the Bliss Hoodie and would get stuck with this color arrangement. Is that normal for Bliss Hoodie or should I be able to change the coloring on my face while wearing the hoodie? My eyes are blue and eyebrows are orange.
It seems even without outerwear, I can change my iris and sclera colors, but not the eyebrows. If I equip any hoodie, or I suppose outerwear that goes over the head, my eyes revert to a blue and orange coloring for eyes and eyebrows that cannot be changed.
