I was saving my diamond armor to finish crafting it because I only needed to make the diamond boots. I had it on an armor mannequin, and the next day when I wanted to use it, it was gone. It had completely disappeared. Which is strange because I also had my gold and chainmail armor on mannequins. But coincidentally, it was the diamond armor that vanished.
