When the daylight cycle is disabled, and the Always Day setting is also turned off, using the “/time set noon” command (or the in-game "Set Time: Noon" button) causes the “Always Day” option to turn on automatically.
After this happens, it becomes impossible to change the time again until the Always Day option is manually turned off in the world settings.
Additionally, it becomes impossible to lock the world at a specific time other than day (for example, at sunset or night), because whenever you set the time, the game re-enables Always Day, even if the daylight cycle is still disabled.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a world or open an existing one.
Disable Daylight Cycle.
Make sure Always Day is off.
During the game, open settings and click Set Time → Noon (or use /time set noon).
Try changing the time again or setting a different fixed time (e.g. night or sunset).
Expected Result:
The Always Day option should remain off, allowing the player to set and fix any desired time (e.g. night, sunset) when the daylight cycle is disabled.
Actual Result:
The Always Day option is automatically enabled after setting time to noon, preventing further manual time changes until it’s turned off again. This makes it impossible to lock the world at any time other than day.
Notes:
This issue makes it difficult to create custom worlds or maps that require a fixed time other than day (e.g. night or evening settings).
