Me and my friend are getting insane lag across all of bedrock edition. He has a way better pc than mine (way more gb of ram, rtx, better processor, etc) and he is getting the same lag I am. We’ve tried turning off Vibrant Visuals and playing with low render distances but minecraft seems to take up way too much ram (his got up to 22gb of ram used) and is lagging our entire computers, and to add onto that it would still be running in the background after closing the application.
To recreate it is to just launch Bedrock edition from the launcher. It takes like 2 minutes to even load into the main menu, and the panorama in the menu lags immensely and inputs are extremely slow and typically dont even go through. In my examples Im not using vibrant visuals, but with it on its about the same amount of lag. In the videos i’m originally in a realm and then i switch to one of my personal worlds, and even then im still lagging. I also added a screenshot of minecraft taking up 22gb of ram (like what??)
It seems the issue is with chunk loading, which when i played on both these worlds on tuesday, i dident have any of these problems. I’v checked all my drivers and whatever and nothing needs to be updated.
