On the PS5 native version of Minecraft, I cannot buy any content in the Marketplace. Attempting to purchase items or add Minecoins results in an error like “Unable to connect to the Playstation Store.” Separately, purchasing Minecoins via the PlayStation Store (HK) succeeds, but the coins do not appear/credit inside the PS5 Marketplace.
Using the PS4 version of Minecraft on the same console and account does not have this problem—purchases and Minecoins work there—so this appears specific to the PS5 version.
Steps to Reproduce
Launch Minecraft (PS5 native version).
Sign in and open the Marketplace.
Try to buy any item or add Minecoins.
Observe the error about being unable to connect to the Playstation Store.
Buy Minecoins from PlayStation Store (HK).
Return to Minecraft (PS5) and note that the Minecoins are not credited.
Expected Result
Marketplace connects normally and purchases (including Minecoins from PS Store HK) appear in the PS5 version.
Actual Result
Marketplace shows a connection error to PS Store and Minecoins purchased through PS Store HK do not credit in the PS5 version, while the PS4 version works as expected.
Workaround
Use the PS4 version of Minecraft on the same console/account (Marketplace and Minecoins work there).
