Incidentally, I also tried it with a Hori controller for the Nintendo Switch, but pressing the ZL and ZR buttons didn't work, and the "attack" and "place" actions were simultaneously assigned to either the X or Y button.

Pressing X or Y does not necessarily mean that an action will occur at the same time, but if you have a block and then press the button, the "place" action will occur, and if you don't have a block, the "attack (dig)" action will occur.

I think this will affect survival mode, the mini-game "PVP," and "athletics with gimmicks."
