The Wither Boss's dash attack and general movement AI is sometimes inconsistent/broken

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Summon the Wither Boss.

  2. Spawn hostile mobs (e.g., Piglin Brute, Warden, or Iron Golem) as targets to force the Wither to use its Dash Attack.

  3. Observe the Wither's movement, specifically when it attempts to execute a Dash Attack and when fighting on the ground.

Observed Results

The Wither Boss exhibits erratic and inconsistent behavior during its Dash Attacks and movement:

Dash Attack Failure (Video 1): When the Wither attempts a Dash Attack against the target mob, it stops in place and slightly moves backward instead of dashing forward.

Curved Dash Path (Video 2): Before dashing, the Wither moves backward/retreats from the target mob briefly, then executes the dash—however, the trajectory is curved instead of straight towards the target, causing it to miss.

Repeated Retreat (Video 3): While fighting on the ground in Phase 2, the Wither continuously attempts to move backward and retreat from the target mob.

Expected Results

The Wither Boss should exhibit consistent and aggressive behavior:

The Dash Attack must move in a straight line and should not stop, move backward, or curve its trajectory.

The Wither should not exhibit continuous backward/retreating movement from a hostile mob.

This issue might be related to the behavior described in bug [MCPE-157761] , specifically concerning Video 1, which details Wither AI and movement problems.
