Platform: Windows 10/11, Minecraft Bedrock Edition) Hardware: RAM: 16 GB CPU: Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)] GPU: RTX 4060, version 581.80 Disk: SSD RAM: 16 Gigabytes of DDR4 Ram
Description: When opening any world in Minecraft Bedrock on Windows, the game starts using RAM normally (~2 GB), but within around 10-30 seconds it ramps up exponentially, eventually consuming nearly all available RAM (~15–16 GB) and crashing the game and or the computer. This happens even with a brand-new world and default settings. Reinstalling the game and launcher and updating drivers does not resolve the issue. Steps to Reproduce: Open the latest version of (as of November 11th 2025) Minecraft Bedrock on Windows Launch a brand-new world (or existing world) Watch RAM usage in Task Manager Observe RAM usage climbing continuously until crash Expected Behavior: Minecraft should use memory dynamically but never exceed normal limits or crash due to memory usage on a system with sufficient RAM. Actual Behavior: RAM usage climbs exponentially until the system nearly maxes out memory, then Minecraft crashes. Additional Information / Notes: Occurs on multiple worlds, including newly created ones and online. All graphics settings at default; reducing render distance and disabling effects does not prevent crash Windows and GPU drivers fully updated This is likely a memory leak in Bedrock Edition on Windows , Please fix this
