Split Screen Multiplayer is not connecting on PS5

The same is happening for us. It crashes everytime I try to join.

I understand, not only that, but Minecraft Vibrant Visuals graphics require Split Screen Multiplayer for Xbox & PS5.

I have the same problem; when I try to log in with the second controller, it simply won't connect. Also, when I return to the main menu, the game gets stuck on "saving".

I have the same problem. My child as player 1 is playing as a child/guest account on the PS5. He has an offline world on his profile. Since update last week or so i can no longer join in split screen.

Same here. Can't play with my child anymore on the same world.

I am experiencing an issue with Minecraft on PlayStation 5 after the latest update.

Split-screen mode no longer works. When the second player tries to join by pressing the appropriate button on the second controller, the “Join as Player 2” message appears, but nothing happens and the second player is not added to the game.

I have already restarted the console and the game, but the problem persists.

Please investigate this issue, as local split-screen multiplayer is an important feature for us.

Hi, today it was working again for me to join local coop. Guess som resent change have fixed the issue.
