When a saddled horse dies, the saddle is supposed to always drop as an item.
However, in both the official Bedrock version and the Preview, the saddle sometimes disappears entirely instead of dropping.
This happens inconsistently — approximately 1 in 10 horse deaths.
The death animation plays normally, but no saddle item appears on the ground, and the player loses the saddle permanently.
This makes saddles unreliable and can cause item loss during normal gameplay.
Steps to Reproduce
Launch the official Bedrock version or the Bedrock Preview on PS5.
Spawn or locate a horse.
Tame it and equip a saddle.
Kill the horse using any weapon (tested with sword, axe, hand).
Observe whether the saddle drops.
Repeat multiple times — the issue tends to occur roughly once every 5–10 attempts.
Observed Result
The horse death animation plays normally.
No saddle appears on the ground.
The saddle disappears entirely.
Happens inconsistently (approx. 10–20% of the time).
Issue occurs on both Preview and official release.
Searching the ground confirms the saddle is truly gone.
Expected Result
When a saddled horse dies, the saddle should always drop as an item.
Additional Notes
Tested in survival mode.
Tested on both flat and normal worlds.
Tested with multiple different horses.
Not related to lag or chunk edge behavior — saddle simply vanishes.
This may be related to item drop timing or server tick desync.
