Can’t heal, even when hunger bar is full

I don’t know how to re-create this bug because I have no idea how it happened. I have a survival forever world (It’s not a new world) and it was acting normal until recently where I’ve encountered a glitch where I cannot heal naturally, even when I have a full hunger bar.

I restarted my iPad, made sure it was updated to the most recent OS available, made sure my Minecraft was updated to the most recent version, and reloaded my Minecraft app. My health didn’t regenerate still despite testing all these things, so I tested some things in game.

I duplicated the world (problem still occurred in the duplicate world), Killed my player several times (health bar would reset with respawn, but wouldn’t regenerate when harmed), removed all the items from my inventory just in case it was an item glitching me out (Didn’t do anything), and turned my game mode from hard to peaceful and still wasn’t able to regenerate health naturally. I also waited for my hunger to reduce and then ate something, hoping that would solve the problem, but once I was back to full hunger my health still wouldn’t regenerate.

Edit: I had no clue that there was a button that turns off and on natural regeneration. It must’ve gotten turned off somehow, but I can now heal! Sorry for the bother, I can’t figure out how to close a ticket, so feel free to close this one.
