In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, the player’s profile picture updates normally when using Marketplace skins or Character Creator skins. However, when the player equips a custom PNG skin, the profile picture does not update and instead remains on the previous image or a default avatar.
The issue only affects custom skins. All official skins display correctly.
This problem appears in the following places:
In-game profile page
Friends list
Multiplayer lobby
Xbox Live–linked profile preview
Expected Result:
The profile picture should update to match any skin the player equips, including custom PNG skins.
Actual Result:
The profile picture updates only for Marketplace and Character Creator skins.
Custom PNG skins are never shown as the profile image.
