In Bedrock Edition, newly constructed Nether portals in the Overworld link to previously existing Nether portals instead of creating a new link. As a result, entering a new portal may teleport the player to a distant, unrelated portal, and returning from the Nether sends the player back to the old Overworld portal. This occurs even when the new portal is far from the original and in a different biome, making portal travel unpredictable
