Curser seen moving across the screen by itself when pausing the game

Every time i pause and unpause my game, somehow it makes my mouse curser move across the screen all by itself with no input from the player. I even unplug my mouse to stop it moving during gameplay as i play with a controller and it slowly moves across my screen every time i pause and unpause my game.
