I discovered this bug while programming an addon for Minecraft Bedrock. I must state that I have not confirmed it in other Bedrock versions such as Android, Xbox, etc., but I am confident that it comes from the component in question. This bug appeared only in version 1.21.124, since it did not exist in the previous 1.21.123 version.
The issue occurs with entities that use the "minecraft:behavior.delayed_attack" component. These entities become paralyzed after killing another entity that is programmed to transform into a different entity upon death. During the bug, they attempt to move toward the location where the eliminated entity died, and then they become stuck. They will not look at the player nor will they react when attacked by other entities.
This does not happen only with addon entitiesβI tested it with a Ravager from the base game, and it behaves the same way when killing an entity that transforms upon death, as shown in the images.
To clarify, the component used by the addon entity to trigger the transformation on death is "minecraft:on_death".
I would like to close this report by requesting that this issue be resolved as soon as possible, as many addon creators in the community rely on this component. Thank you.
