Steps to Reproduce:
Create a 1×1 block area and fill it with a large number of armor stands (e.g., 300–500).
Stand inside the block so that the player’s camera clips into the armor stands.
Observe performance as the new transparency effect is applied to every overlapping entity.
Observed Results:
Before this update, the same setup ran smoothly with 500+ armor stands.
After the transparency change, performance becomes extremely poor with even 60–100 armor stands.
FPS drops sharply whenever the camera overlaps any entity, causing the game to apply a “ghost-like” transparency shader.
This affects all entities: armor stands, mobs, NPCs, and decorative clusters.
Expected Results:
Dense entity builds should perform the same as before the update.
Impact:
Technical builds, farms, armor stand decorations, and redstone contraptions that previously worked fine now suffer major performance loss.
Builds that relied on 300–500 armor stands are no longer usable, even on devices that handled them pre-update.
This heavily affects low-end devices, consoles, and mobile platforms.
