Items do not float when in flowing water, particularly noticable when the flowing water is above still water. This causes many farms that rely on water transportation (first discovered in kelp farm) to break.
How to reproduce:
Build a chamber filled with still water
Place temporary blocks on top
Place water along one edge to make it flow
Break the temporary blocks
Drop items into the chamber
Observed result:
The items stop rising in between the still and flowing water
Expected result:
The items continue to rise to the very top of the flowing water and allowed to be carried away
