Game keep crashing while in the Nether

The new update was released when I had saved my game in the Nether. Every time I attempted to go home through the portal, the game would crash. Took me 10 goes to finally get back home. Today, I’ve gone back to the nether and every 3 or so minutes, the game crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, checked the game and device for updates, followed all the online troubleshooting from Mojang and Nintendo, and still have the issue. All of my other games are working without issues or crashing, just Minecraft
